Luba Yamoah is a lawyer at Pavey, Law & Witteveen LLP in Cambridge, Ontario. Luba's practice focuses primarily on Family Law and she also practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Wills and Residential Real Estate.

Luba is new to the Cambridge area, having joined Pavey, Law & Witteveen LLP in December 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Luba practised extensively in the area of Family Law at a local law firm in Kitchener. Luba assists our clients with the resolution of a wide range of Family Law disputes, including the resolution of property division and equalization claims, support issues and custody and access disputes. Luba is actively involved in the negotiation and preparation of marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements and separation agreements. Where matters cannot be settled, Luba is involved with the litigation of Family Law disputes and has argued matters at both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice levels. Where appropriate, Luba is pleased to assist our clients settle their disputes outside of court through the use of alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and mediation-arbitration.
In addition to her Family Law practice, Luba also handles matters in the firm's Civil Litigation, Wills and Estates, and Residential Real Estate practice areas.
Luba was born in Bratislava, Slovakia, and as a native Slovak speaker, she is pleased to converse with our clientele in both the Slovak and Czech languages, if desired.
Luba and her husband have recently joined the Cambridge community, where they now make their home. In her spare time, Luba enjoys spending time outdoors participating in various sports including cross country running and tennis.
Luba is a member of the Shades' Mill Law Association, the Waterloo Law Association as well as the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations.
