Michael B. Wannop practices exclusively in the areas of civil litigation and family law. He has more than 20 years experience before all levels of courts in the province, including landmark cases argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal.

In the area of civil litigation, he has dealt with many cases involving all aspects of personal injuries, insurance issues and contract disputes. In the past Michael has been retained to defend several insurance companies, as well as running a plaintiff's personal injury practice.

In the area of family law, virtually all of his cases involve legal issues relating to child custody, access and support, divorce, property equalization on separation, preparation of separation agreements, marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements.

As a volunteer in the community, Michael has served on the Board of Directors of the South Waterloo Housing Authority, the Galt Country Club, the Cambridge Minor Baseball Association, the Cambridge Association for the Mentally Handicapped and he coached children's baseball and basketball for many years. His recreational activities include golf, running, cooking, gardening and trying to learn more about wine.
