Meagan has extensive experience in civil litigation and her practice includes business and commercial law matters, employment law matters (both employer and employee), estate litigation and administrative and health law.
Meagan joined the firm in 2015, having practiced with Fogler, Rubinoff LLP in Toronto as a partner in its Litigation group prior to moving to Cambridge. There she was focused on large, corporate and commercial litigation, employment law and developed her skills in health law via the completion of The Osgoode Certificate in Health Law program.
Meagan has represented clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
When she is not in court or at a tribunal hearing, Meagan is actively involved in the negotiation and preparation of settlements and assisting our clients through the use of alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and mediation-arbitration.
In her spare time, Meagan and her family are actively involved in local community events and enjoy all that a smaller community has to offer.
Meagan serves as a director of the board of the Cambridge YWCA and the Cambridge Shelter Corporation (The Bridges). In September 2017, Meagan was appointed President of the local Shades Mill Law Association.
